Say, "Alexa, play music by The Beatles." Or, say, "Alexa, play The Beatles Hey Jude." You can also access your favorite radio station by saying, "Alexa, play SWR3." Alternatively, you can ask Alexa to play a specific genre: "Alexa, play classical music." Or, say, "Alexa, play 80s hits."

Check news and weather

Check the news of the day. This works, for example, with the Tagesschau skill. "Alexa, play the latest news from Tagesschau." Or you can check the weather: "Alexa, what's the weather like in Baden-Baden?" You can also check current stock prices and the traffic situation for your commute home: "Alexa, what's the traffic like to Hamburg?"

Set alarm or timer

"Alexa, please remind me for tea in 5 minutes." or "Alexa, wake me up tomorrow morning at 8:00 AM with music by Michael Jackson." "Alexa, please remind me about my sister at 3:00 PM."

Standard formulations

"Alexa, turn down/up." or "Alexa, stop." or "Alexa, previous/next." This function is useful when you're listening to music and want to adjust the volume. But it's also useful when you want to interrupt Alexa's spoken text.
